We are pleased to inform you that JITL with Academic-Research status is going to launch its special issue (Volume 4, Issue 2). Original research papers in different aspects of physics are welcomed. The journal covers all areas related to:

• Surface and interface
• Thin films devices
• Synthesis and properties of layers used in superconducting applications
• Synthesis and characterization of micro and nano structures
• Surface and Interface phenomena: physics, chemistry, and applications
• Synthesis and properties of Langmuir-Blodgett, biological and related layers
• Condensed matter film behavior
• Surface and interface of semiconductors
• Optics and laser
• Plasma

All the published manuscripts are open access and have been peer-reviewed according to the standard procedures.
